Product Description Fiberglass Woven Roving is a composite material made from fiberglass yarn. It has high strength, high modulus, and excellent corrosion resistance, making it widely used in various fields. The application areas vary with different thicknesses. Common models include EWR 200, EWR 360, EWR400, EWR 500, etc., with a weight range from 100gsm to 1600gsm. For example, the longitudinal breaking strength of EWR 600 is 4000N/50mm, and the transverse breaking strength is 3850N/50mm, providing advantages in higher mechanical strength, suitable for applications requiring large loads or impacts.
As a manufacturer with nearly 20 years of production experience, we specialize in producing fiberglass fabrics, which are sold to over 30 countries. We have various types of production equipment, as well as professional technical and service teams, enabling us to provide customized services that meet the diverse needs of our customers.

Main Application Different thicknesses of fiberglass woven roving indeed have some differences in their application fields.

Hand Lay-Up Molding Process

  • Thinner Fiberglass Woven Roving (such as EWR200, EWR270): Suitable for hand lay-up molding processes requiring precise operations, easy to conform to mold surfaces, forming accurate and complex shapes.
  • Thicker Fiberglass Woven Roving (such as EWR500, EWR600): Also usable in hand lay-up molding but may require more resin for impregnation, less flexible than thinner woven roving, suitable for applications needing high mechanical strength.

Construction Field

  • Insulation Materials: Thinner fiberglass woven roving is used for its good thermal insulation properties in exterior walls and roofs.
  • Structural Reinforcement Materials: Thicker fiberglass woven roving is used to enhance the load-bearing capacity and seismic performance of concrete walls and floors.

Industrial Field

  • Anticorrosive Materials: Thinner woven roving is easy to process and suitable for various shaped anticorrosive layers; thicker woven roving, due to higher corrosion resistance and strength, is suitable for occasions requiring higher anticorrosive performance.
  • Fireproof Materials: Fiberglass woven roving has good fireproof performance, with thicker woven roving having an advantage in withstanding higher temperatures and flame impacts.
